LMDD — Engineer & Construct

ONZE DISCIPLINES

Engineer and Construct.

LMDD works in two disciplines. Each can be engaged separately, but they are strongest when they connect within one project.

01

Engineer

In our Engineer discipline we translate a design into a buildable timber or hybrid structure. We get involved early, so decisions on structure, detailing and construction method are made while they can still shape the project.

  • Structural design
  • Detailing
  • Production drawings

Construct

In our Construct discipline we take the engineered structure to site. Elements are prefabricated from verified drawings and assembled on site in a fixed sequence.

  • Production
  • Assembly
  • Single point of contact to handover

How the two disciplines connect

What is worked out in Engineer forms the basis for Construct. Because one party oversees both steps, no decisions get lost between drawing and site.
